TERMS OF SALE
By placing an order you are offering to purchase a product subject to these terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. We must receive the payment in whole. Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been received by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order form. Our acceptance of your order takes place on the dispatch of our products to you unless we notify you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled your order.
BESPOKE DESIGN SKETCHES
We require a £100 deposit for bespoke design sketches. This amount will then be deducted from the cost of the chosen design. If you decide not to proceed with the design, this deposit is non-refundable.
Payment can be made by debit card, credit card or bank transfer.
Designs remain the property of Elinor Cambray Jewellery Ltd.
PAYMENT FOR BESPOKE ORDERS
We require a 50% deposit for bespoke items as confirmation of your order before production can begin. At this point you will be committed to the purchase of design. If you are having jewellery remodelled, the deposit payment also acts as your permission to dismantle your jewellery to begin the remodelling process. This deposit is non-refundable. The remaining 50% will then need to be paid in full before dispatch of the order.
Payment can be made by debit card, credit card or bank transfer.
Goods remain the property of Elinor Cambray Jewellery Ltd until paid for in full.
ORDERS
The majority of items are made to order and usually take 4-6 weeks. At busier times and for bespoke items this may increase to 8-12 weeks. If items are marked as available and 'in stock', they may be dispatched sooner but please check before ordering if this is critical to your online purchase.
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. You will be advised by e-mail if we anticipate your item cannot be delivered in the time frame outlined above, or if a unique item has been sold elsewhere and is no longer available.
If you require your order for a specific date then we will do our best to accommodate your requirements but cannot be held responsible if the item is not received in time (see below)
Orders must be paid for in full in advance, including any postage costs.
For bespoke orders, a 50% deposit is required to confirm the commission with the balance payable prior to delivery.
PRICES
Goods are charged at price shown on the product pages on the date the customer places the order and are inclusive of VAT.
Errors and omissions are excepted. Data entry errors or other technical problems may result in inaccurate pricing. If you see any price which you believe may be incorrect, please contact us to confirm the price.
Orders will be processed at our published prices, otherwise, in the case of any unexpected change in price, you will be informed and asked if you wish to reconsider your order before proceeding. All prices are stated in British Pounds Sterling £GBP. Due to fluctuations in precious metal prices, Elinor Cambray Jewellery Ltd reserves the right to alter prices at any time, without prior notice.

Cancellation By You – bespoke and customised orders:
A bespoke or customised order cannot be changed or cancelled once your deposit has been paid. The deposit payment is your agreement and commitment to the order. The deposit will not be refunded if you choose to cancel your order once it has been confirmed and production is underway.
Cancellations must be made in writing by email so both parties have a record of the process. We will confirm cancellation by email reply and start to process straight away. If a bespoke order is cancelled any design fees are non-refundable.
Cancellation By You - Workshops:
Your workshop and materials deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel or postpone your workshop within 8 weeks of your workshop Elinor Cambray will try to replace your workshop date with someone else, but in the event that this is not possible, you will not be refunded.
If you postpone your workshop within 8 weeks of the workshop date Elinor Cambray will transfer your deposit to another available date within 3 months of the original date. If you postpone your workshop within 4 weeks of the workshop then Elinor Cambray will transfer your deposit if she is able to replace your workshop date with someone else. Otherwise she will be unable to refund you.
If you cancel the workshop after the metals have been ordered, full payment for the materials will be required on the workshop date. The metal is not returnable to the bullion company as it will have been cut and milled to size for your specific rings. If the metal has not yet been ordered, then the materials deposit will be refunded.
If you cancel with less than 4 weeks until your workshop then the remaining workshop balance will also be due.
Cancellation By Us - workshops:
If Elinor Cambray has to cancel your workshop due to unforeseen circumstances we will give as much notice as possible. Elinor Cambray will offer another date or a refund of your deposit,
Elinor Cambray is not liable for any other costs incurred to you (for example accommodation or travel expenses).
For wedding ring workshops we highly recommend wedding insurance to cover you in the event of unavoidable cancellation.
DELIVERY
Delivery times are for in stock items only. Next Day Delivery is for working days only.
For Next Day Delivery, your order must be placed before 1pm (BST). For example to receive an order on a Tuesday please place your order on the Monday before 1pm (BST). For Monday delivery an order will need to be placed on Friday before 1pm (BST). If your order is placed after 1pm (BST) then it will be dispatched the next working day.
All orders are sent using the Royal Mail Special Delivery service with adequate insurance for the value of the goods.
If your jewellery has not arrived when indicated or is damaged or faulty in any way you must contact us immediately.
If your delivery has been delayed, then please contact us and we will provide you with the tracking number to enable you to locate it with Royal Mail.
We cannot refund or replace lost items until 20 working days after the date of despatch (30 days for international items) - this is when the Royal Mail classes items as being lost.
International delivery - When items are sent to another country, your parcel is often handled by more than one postal service. When we send a parcel abroad, the actual delivery of the item will be the responsibility of the postal service in the country the items are going to. Delays can often be caused by customs checks, which can sometimes take up to 1-2 weeks.
Please note that we do not refund or replace items that are tracked as being delivered. For this reason, we always recommend that you get items delivered to your home address rather than a shared work address.
Elinor Cambray Jewellery Ltd cannot be held responsible for goods that are lost or delayed in transit.
RETURNS
In the unlikely event that you are not happy with your online purchase we will accept return of jewellery within 14 days of purchasing for a full refund, exchange or credit note (minus the cost of any postage) provided the piece has not be worn or damaged in any way.
Exempt from any refund are Bespoke commissions, made to order items or jewellery altered to a customer request.
For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be exchanged or returned unless faulty.
Please contact us prior to returning any goods with details of the problem. Items must be returned using a secure delivery service (such as Royal Mail Special Delivery Service) and insured to the full value of the goods. We are not responsible for the delivery cost of returned items or for any loss or damage of items being returned for exchange, refund or credit.
Elinor Cambray Jewellery Ltd. does not accept any responsibility for any items lost, stolen or damaged in transit. These responsibilities are those of the customer.
Please Note:
Returns received outside of the above stated timelines are accepted at the discretion of Elinor Cambray Jewellery Ltd.
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of Elinor Cambray Jewellery Ltd receiving your return.
All refunds of undamaged and unworn products that have been correctly return, will be credited to the customer via the original method of purchase.
Unwanted gifts and goods returned without a receipt may be exchanged for a credit note.
FAULTY RETURNS
In the rare event that goods are delivered faulty or damaged please contact us immediately so we can arrange a replacement or a refund. If the package you receive is damaged or open, please do not accept the delivery and contact customer services immediately to arrange a replacement. Should this occur, we will cover additional delivery costs and re-arrange delivery of a new replacement item.
Faulty items will only be accepted for return if the goods have been delivered to the customer damaged, or if a manufacturing fault occurs within the 6 months after delivery. All items that are returned as faulty will be assessed by Elinor Cambray Jewellery Ltd, and any item displaying damage that is deemed to be a direct result of fair wear or accidental damage will not be accepted as faulty. We offer a full repairs service for such items. There will be a small charge for this service, to cover the cost of the repair along with any shipping costs incurred.
