Enchanted forest ring - ready to wear

Enchanted forest ring in sterling silver and 18ct gold plated silver with clear quartz in a size R. 
The delicate tree branches have been hand-pierced from sterling silver sheet and then plated with rhodium and 18ct gold. The sterling silver pendant is capped with a natural clear quartz cabochon to magnify and enhance the depth and layers of the branches.

The ring measures 20mm across and the flat silver band is 5mm wide.  The silver has been lightly textured to give a sparkling finish.

The back layer of the ring is black oxidised silver, the background tree is plated in 18ct yellow gold and the top layer is plated in rhodium.  The outside of the ring, and the main body of the trees is sterling silver.

The ring will be handmade in my workshop using recycled sterling silver and then hallmarked by the London Assay Office. Read more about hallmarking here.
